LaSalle outlast Smithfield 3-2

Smithfield took a 1 to 0 lead in the first on an unassisted goal by David Gaulin.  LaSalle tied the score on a power play goal and the first period ended tied at one.  Smithfield once again took the lead 2-1 on a goal by Ragosta from Goolgasion.    LaSalle was able to get two in the period and the Sentinels went into the locker room down 3-2.  Despite some good opportunities the Sentinels could not get one by the LaSalle goalie and there was no scoring in the third period and the game ended 3 to 2.  The story of this one is the Sentinels could only capitalize on one power play 1 for 10 including a couple of 5 on 3’s
